A home design show is a place to gain inspiration. When it came to stylish outdoor living, this year's Dwell on Design show didn't disappoint.

From a hybrid grill to heated outdoor furniture, we found some unique products that will give you a good idea of where trends are headed in outdoor design.

The outdoor kitchen is gaining in popularity among many high-end homeowners.

For instance, the Kodama Zone is a modern take on the age-old hammock or tire swing. It's handcrafted in Oregon, has a capacity of up to 600 pounds, and can be hung from a tree or mounted on a stand (sold separately).

A gas grill on the patio and a fridge in the garage is great, but the outdoor kitchen is gaining in popularity among many high-end homeowners. We saw everything from a beer tap to a wine fridge, all designed to let you relax and enjoy a beverage under the stars.

Finally, custom-built fire features go beyond the traditional fire pit, with natural gas flames and sleek enclosures. All these new products are unique—but we won't be surprised if they inspire imitators in the future.
